Most bill payments via BBPS are confirmed instantly — within 5–10 seconds. You receive a BBPS transaction reference number immediately after payment. The biller's system updates within 2–4 hours in most cases. For urgent payments, always process at least 2 hours before the biller's deadline.

If a biller is registered on BBPS, you can pay it through PayBazaar.

If your wallet is debited but the biller does not confirm the payment within 30 minutes, raise a complaint with our support team immediately with the Transaction ID. We will investigate and either re-process the payment or refund your wallet within 3–5 business days as per BBPS dispute guidelines.

Yes! PayBazaar generates a digital receipt with the official BBPS transaction reference number for every successful bill payment. You can share this receipt via SMS, WhatsApp, or print a physical copy. This receipt is accepted as valid proof of payment by billers.

Bill payment limits are set by individual billers on the BBPS platform. For most utility bills, there is no maximum limit. Some billers may cap a single payment transaction — in such cases, the app will notify you. If a high-value bill exceeds the limit, you can split the payment across multiple transactions.

Yes! BBPS bill payments are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays. Payments processed on holidays are confirmed the next working day by the biller but the BBPS reference number is generated immediately as proof of payment.
